Tomorrow night, CONTROL at Avalon will be going off with some heavy beats. King of the fo-fo-fadi foodchain Trippy Turtle will be bringing his Jersey Club bounce with Pomo and Promnite as support. Alongside his HW&W labelmates and their R&B inclinations, Pomo has developed his own style akin to sultry disco beats. Promnite and the Athletixx team, on the other hand, have been flipping some solid rap style.

All in all, the night is looking to get pretty hood. So get your tickets and get down with us. If you can’t make it out, then strongly consider heading up the coast to SB with our buddies in We the Beat to catch the day-after party with Pomo.

2014 has been a breakout year for TeamSupreme’s Djemba Djemba. He threw one of the hardest sets we saw at HARD Summer. If you’re looking for a high energy, sporadic, and all-around ridiculously fun party, then we suggest you share his energy on Tuesday night.

He sticks mostly to an 808 foundation of heavy trap, high-hats, jersey club, and jungle. As a precursor, you should expect a mosh here and there. Or you can come join the one we’ll be starting.

Banks – Fall Over (Djemba Djemba Remix)

RL Grime – Core (Djemba Djemba Remix)

Destructo – Dare You 2 Move (Djemba Djemba Remix)

There’s no denying the growing influence of ‘kawaii’ in the electronic scene. The musical translation of this Japanese term is video-gamey and emotionally driven by a sense of nostalgia. The style has gained widespread traction thanks to Porter Robinson’s Worlds.

NΣΣT is an artist who adds his own special touch to ‘kawaii’. His most recent release, A Kinda NΣΣT Christmas, captures the holiday spirit in style. It is a lighthearted and funky expression of cold weather, foggy nights, cuddling, and hot chocolate. Catch us chilling out by a warm fire with NΣΣT on repeat.
