Rock was one of our first loves. RADKEY is a sibling trio that has recharged our emotions. Their driving basslines, ripping guitar solos, and thrash drumming have all the makings of a wonderfully riotous set. The baritone voice of eldest brother Dee adds Midwest flavour that only improves upon their tried and true rock’n’roll style.

They play Saturday. Expect to hear tracks from their forthcoming album. Come mosh.

Radkey – Romance Dawn

Radkey – Start Freaking Out

Radkey – Cat & Mouse

DJ supergroup J.E.S.u.S. is comprised of four of the more outspoken – and respected – electronic artists of our age (Jackmaster, Eats Everything, Skream, und Seth Troxler). When they’re together, these jesters tag onto each others’ respective styles seamlessly. The result is an unpredictable back2back2back2back adventure through all things at the forefront of house music.

Expect to hear new releases from all around the world and see some silly shenanigans onstage. They will be making their American debut on Sunday and we’ll be right there in Yuma taking it all in.

When we caught Sylvan Esso at SXSW 2014, the only real intro we had to them was the chilled out electronica of ‘Hey Mami’ and ‘Coffee’. They came out looking like a typical indie boy-girl feel good-pop duo. And then they shattered all of our expectations.

Listening to their recorded tracks does them only the slightest of justice. Where they excel is definitely in the performer’s eye. Amelia and Nick’s on-stage presence is charmingly lovable. They feed off of each other and the energy seeps. Starting the festival season off with smiles all around and playful dancing with strangers is A-Okay in our book. Come play with us.

Sylvan Esso – Coffee

Both a musical journey and an artistic display, Until the Ribbon Breaks is a project of grand proportions. What started as a one man exploration has since evolved into a spellbinding three-piece of dark rock layered with experimental R’n’B. Their music videos only bring an added allure.

Throughout 2014, they established themselves in a similar realm of The Neighbourhood‘s black-white but with a decidedly more broken man approach. The result is something extremely emotive and earnestly intimate. Catch them early on Saturday to help calm some nerves.

UTRB – Pressure

UTRB – Romeo

Blondie – One Way or Another (UTRB Re-imagination)

UTRB – A Taste of Silver

Arguably the pop-sensation of the decade, singer by way of actress Ryn Weaver went music world viral in June 2014 with her single ‘OctaHate’. It was an emotionally charged affair that brought to mind Queen Bey and Ellie G. Follow-up EP Promises affirmed her as an artist to watch with its heartfelt lyricism and production backing from Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat, and Michael Angelakos.

Making it onto the Coachella bill so early into her career is nothing but huge for her future. Join us on Saturday to see her enjoy her good fortune.

It’s been nearly a year since the release of Tourist’s emotionally stirring Patterns EP. Born around the London
UK garage electronica movement, his music carries pop patterns akin to Disclosure and Sam Smith (they co-wrote ‘Stay With Me’) but with far more Balearic swells. When we caught him at LIB he impressed us with his passionately poetic progressions. It was a liberating experience, to say the least. He’ll be bringing his LIVE setup to Coachella.

Join us as Tourist’s signature slow builds wash over us on Saturday. We expect a few vocal guests and features from his forthcoming August release.

Tourist – I Can’t Keep Up ft. Will Heard

Tourist – Patterns ft. Lianne La Havas

Tourist – Jupiter

CHVRCHES – Lies (Tourist Remix)

Since 2009, Berlin-based duo Tale of Us has been creating top-shelf minimal techno that Germany is so well known for. They had an absolutely killer essential mix appearance at the beginning of the year. Similar to “deep house” last year, this year in electronic music is looking to be the rise of the “underground” and Tale of Us is definitely in the lead pack.

We caught them at APEX LA last year, and we can firmly say they’ll be taking us to another world in the Yuma tent come Saturday. Find us under the shark coated in purple hues.

Caribou – Can’t Do Without You (Tale of Us & Mano Le Tough Remix)
