It’s about time the homies over at NO BODY got a more well deserved feature on C+A+D. Ruben and Kevin have been grinding hard in efforts of creating their own unique sound, and at this point it’s safe to say they’ve found it! For over a year now, they have consistently released tracks on their SoundCloud, and most of the time it’s a free download. They caught their big break after getting a mainstage opportunity at LED’s Anniversary Party (w/ Knife Party, Bingo Players, Kill the Noise and more). Ever since, the stars have just been aligning in their favor. The dudes just made it that much more real to me that hard work and focus is guaranteed to pay off. Hello friends! Got another solid lineup for you this week. I’m still coming off a 2 day hangover, so I’m not going to take much of your time. Especially since NBA playoffs are in session! Nothin’ like more reasons to not to leave the comforts of my living room couch. Besides, tomorrow is always a good day to start working out, right?

Few notes: Mr. Oizo released a free downloadable EP last week. It’s pretty weird as usual, but there are some listenable songs. You can download that here. The Wu Tang/Beatles mash up song is part of a whole album called Enter the Magical Mystery Chambers. Normally I’d say don’t f*ck with the Beatles…but it’s really well done! I was looking for a link to buy it for you guys, but I couldn’t. So this free download link to the album will just have to do. Enjoy the rest of #93:

Was pleasantly surprised today to stumble on two new releases from OLIVER, LA’s very own disco duo. If you’re familiar with these parts then you already know what to expect from these tracks. I feel like making dance floor burners has become second nature for these guys. Everything they put out is a breath of fresh air for disco fiends around the world. I don’t know how such talent can relatively come out of nowhere, but I guess that’s just the day and age we live in. Check the tracks after the jump:

Happy Sunday friends. I’m in a really good mood right now. Bought my Outside Lands tickets, HARD Summer lineup leaked, got a bunch of new music, found out Breakbot is coming out with a 14 track album in the Fall, TEED’s album comes out soon, and I don’t know…just ready for Summer. Life is good. Still on a high from last weekend at Coachella. I’ve been trying to scheme a way back there, but I think I’m just going to have to admit defeat on this one. I just need to go to another show as soon as possible. Any suggestions? Either way, I’m happy with this week’s list. Enjoy #92

It’s tough to put into words the feeling of getting new music from someone you appreciate so much. Let alone when it comes out of nowhere AND it’s free. Our favorite French house producer surprised us a couple days ago with a remix pack he dubbed Modernized. “A new take on some of House Music’s most classic tracks,” says Louis. So fresh. SO clean. Lovin’ me some funk. All of these tracks are downloadable for free below, or visit his SoundCloud page and shoot him a follow. You will not regret it.

Every year it gets harder and harder to leave Indio as Coachella draws to a close. This year is even worse, because they’re doing it all over again this weekend! Even though I wish I was back, I’m just happy to have been a part of one of them. The countdown begins yet again for next year, and I have these amazing artists to help hold me off until then.
