The other day I was cleaning up my house from the storm of destruction that came through before the free Treasure Fingers show, and I decided to challenge myself. What initially prompted the challenge was when I saw this comic online. The challenge was to see if I could listen to the first ten songs without wanting to skip. Well my people, as it turns out, I had no desire to skip and have shamelessly included all ten songs for you to listen to below. I love them all! Plus, I’m just happy to have a junk-free-iPod…as far as these ten songs are concerned anyway. Enjoy #96 y’all.

Hello hello again, friends. Last week was a fairly slow one for new music. SO I stocked this week’s list up with some random, timeless gems I picked up while shuffling through my library. If you have them, GOOD! If not, try something new. There’s something great about finding out you like a new genre. It’s kinda like you’ve opened a portal to a far away land of mysteries, except you can explore it from the comforts of your computer chair. Regardless, I hope these expand your musical inclinations. Aaaannywwaay, happy Mother’s day to all da baby mommaz out der. Enjoy #95!
Good day people! Been on slight withdrawal from the lack of shows that have been presenting themselves as of late. Looking more forward for what’s in the future…the very near future to be exact! First off, I’m most excited that THE TWELVES are coming back to California after a one year hiatus. One can only hope to hear the fruits of their time off from touring at their live show. Get your tickets before it’s too late! It breaks my heart that Circus Records and Bassrush are having a show that same night! Flux, Dr. P, Brown & Gammon (below), Funtcase, Cookie Monsta….ugh. That’s going to be a hell of a high energy show. Tickets for that here.

The Wu Tang/Beatles mash up song is part of a whole album called Enter the Magical Mystery Chambers. Normally I’d say don’t f*ck with the Beatles…but it’s really well done! I was looking for a link to buy it for you guys, but I couldn’t. So this free download link to the album will just have to do. Enjoy the rest of #93:

Happy Sunday friends. I’m in a really good mood right now. Bought my Outside Lands tickets, HARD Summer lineup leaked, got a bunch of new music, found out Breakbot is coming out with a 14 track album in the Fall, TEED’s album comes out soon, and I don’t know…just ready for Summer. Life is good. Still on a high from last weekend at Coachella. I’ve been trying to scheme a way back there, but I think I’m just going to have to admit defeat on this one. I just need to go to another show as soon as possible. Any suggestions? Either way, I’m happy with this week’s list. Enjoy #92

Happy Sunday friends! It seems like just yesterday that I walked out of the Polo Fields beginning my countdown for Coachella 2012. And here I sit with less than a week to spare until I’m on my way back! Damn. For those of you who haven’t been, it’s quite literally impossible to overhype what’s in store for us next weekend. AH! Plus I’ll have my FlipCam with me. I like to upload everything I record right when I get home after the day. Ok. I gotta relax. Still have a few more days until our journey begins.
